In this post, I am going to teach you how to slip stitch. You’ll often see it abbreviated as ‘slst’ in crochet patterns. It is the smallest stitch you can create in crochet and is useful for when you are fastening off your work.
Slip Stitch Instructions
- Insert hook into the top of the stitches or chain you’re working into.
- Yarn over and pull through the top of the stitch or chain. This creates an extra loop on the hook.
- Pull the extra loop through the first loop on the hook.
