- Yarn over and insert hook into the first stitch or chain you are decreasing into. Pull through. You now have three loops on your hook.
- Yarn over and pull through two of the loops on your hook. Two loops remain on your hook.

- Yarn over and insert into the next stitch or hook you’re decreasing into. Pull through. You now have four loops on your hook.
- Yarn over and pull through two of the loops on your hook. You now have three loops remaining

- Yarn over and pull through the remaining three loops.
